For the first time in a few days I present to you a two-part question. (no larger version available)

*yawn* WAY WAY WAY too easy for me. You didn't chop out nearly enough of the photo to make this difficult

Great!! So easy, yet I haven't got a scooby.... So, by the process of elimination, I conclude that this is a circle/district location, somewhere toward the Eastern End of the line. Complete stab in the dark, Cannon Street?

Some may not know it, maybe you should let others have a guess, instead of continually posting your answer, [which is inevitably right] soon after the question is posted. No offence meant btw!

If you know the answer THAT well then a PM would be the sensible way to go.

South Ken, W/B platform, looking East. Yep, that's what I thought as well..... Just this keyboard keeps playing up! Anyway, if this is the correct answer, I was only about half a dozen stations out.

I pass under that disused floodgate/barrier almost every day on my way in, it really is an amazing piece of engineering.

I don't know when I'll be around later, so here is part 2 a little earlier than I was planning.

Well - while I knew straight away where it is, do I get a bonus point for saying that the leading car of that train is 7514 ;D ;D ;D

South Ken indeed, facing EB. I can recognise the flimsy trailer-quality building on the right hand side!

As most of you have identified, this is South Kensington looking eastbound. The unmodified picture, taken by Aspect, is below:
