Hi
I saw a District line map that was on a piece of metal and I think might of came from a D stock train. The kind of line map thats above the seats in a carriage.
Under the map sicker there were two other stickers one had "NSLG" and the other "PSLG" what do these mean?
Thanks
Alex

PSLG: Positive Shoe Lifting Gear NSLG: Negative Shoe Lifting Gear
Just equipment to raise shoes from the traction rails which probably had stickers to mark it’s parallel location in the passenger saloon.

These abbreviations are known by train crews as 'Cant rail abbreviations' They are on all stocks.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any cantrail markings on S stock.

Possibly because they don't have equipments under the seats like older stocks do?

Marked on previous LT rolling stock with strategically placed red and black/blue * (stars) I'm pretty sure there aren't any cantrail markings on S stock. BIC (in every car) and MLIC are marked on the cant rail of S Stock, although the equipment is actually in the end-car cabinets.
