Embankment, looking w/b from a w/b train.
You should have obscured the platform ramp - that instantly told me I was looking at a station with platforms that are offset from one another. The skylight gave it away too - Embankment has one on the eastern end of the station near the crossover.
The part I can't figure out is why there would be TSR boxes on both roads - has the crossover 'gone off' lately?

Your knowledge of LU is quite frightening. ;D But do you know where Signal NP13 is?

Your knowledge of LU is quite frightening. ;D But do you know where Signal NP13 is? yeah, next to NP1. Anyhow, I'll agree with Embankment... I guess the recess on the right used to house a siding or summat?

Yup, I'll go with Embankment too.
I *think* you can just see the TSR marker for the reverse move off the w/b platform if you look reaaaaallllly hard (or - like me - cheat and blow the picture up 'locally')!

Your knowledge of LU is quite frightening. ;D But do you know where Signal NP13 is? Yup, it's the Advanced Starter No.2 on the n/b High Barnet branch beyond No.23 crossover at East Finchley. *gryn* Anyhow, I'll agree with Embankment... I guess the recess on the right used to house a siding or summat? It was a steam loco spur used to service the locos in the days when steam haulage was practiced on the District. Mansion House and Aldgate also had similar facilities.

Answer:This is Embankment station, but Aspect's description says: "Embankment (eastbound)", which I presume means it was photographed from an Eastbound train. The unmodified picturei s below:

Nope, TheOneKea has it exactly. I meant it was a view of Embankmet eastbound platform / eastbound train. The picture is looking w/b from a westbound train. TheOneKea's level of LUL knowledge is astonising

Dang it, the first picture I recognised - not many sections have such a tiny cut-and-cover opening!
..and I just *have* to be a day late!

Is it known when Embankment reversing is next scheduled as a result of engineering work? 28th/29th July, with Circles reversing at Moorgate.
