Well its a 1938ts alright, but there a couple of things that give the game away...the carr sheds in the background for one. So I'll let somebody else have a go and I'll ride this one out for a bit.

I think it is Ryde too. Isn't that train painted with a half yellow front? (Which makes it not quite accurate!)

At first I thought it was Edgware, but then I remembered that the trainshed at Edgware extends along the entire island platform.
So I also think that this is on the IoW.

I am certain it's Ryde St Johns Road, as the rarely-used bay platform which sometimes has a train parked in there, is on the next road. They only seem to use the bay during engineering work unless I am mistaken!

Answer: This is indeed Ryde St Johns Road, photographed by Aspect. The trains in this livery were unfortunately not running during the couple of days I spent on the island last year.
