About two weeks ago I was travelling around on the Central line when I saw this little thing:  I can't remember which train it was on, and I haven't seen it since. I did a quick search Google to try and find out what it means, but to no avail. Does anyone here know what it's about? |

Well obviously it's about helping others. Particularly and presumably by volunteering to give up your seat to somebody who might need it more, even if it isn't a priority seat.

It is art: Central line art project. I know that it is art because the website tells me so. But I am an artistic ignoramus, so I wouldn't know art even if it hit me on the head! |

And art comes in many forms. Nonetheless, it is generally intended to invoke some form of thought, which this has. It's present on a handful of trains; as the link shows it is part of 'Acts of Kindness by Michael Landy, itself part of the Central line series which ran throughout 2008/9. |

I should add that I rather like the motif that appears on the seats. Little differences on trains and in stations make for a more interesting journey.

I searched it up on Google again, and I've found out that I wasn't using the right words. Apparently " "other self" TfL" is wrong (funnily enough, it brings up the forum), and instead I should have searched up "other self TfL". Apparently it's from 2011, about 7 years ago!

It's called Self/Other and is from 2008/9, as already stated above. |
