About two weeks ago I was travelling around on the Central line when I saw this little thing: I can't remember which train it was on, and I haven't seen it since. I did a quick search Google to try and find out what it means, but to no avail. Does anyone here know what it's about?

Well obviously it's about helping others. Particularly and presumably by volunteering to give up your seat to somebody who might need it more, even if it isn't a priority seat.

It is art: Central line art project. I know that it is art because the website tells me so. But I am an artistic ignoramus, so I wouldn't know art even if it hit me on the head!

And art comes in many forms. Nonetheless, it is generally intended to invoke some form of thought, which this has. It's present on a handful of trains; as the link shows it is part of 'Acts of Kindness by Michael Landy, itself part of the Central line series which ran throughout 2008/9.

I should add that I rather like the motif that appears on the seats. Little differences on trains and in stations make for a more interesting journey.

I searched it up on Google again, and I've found out that I wasn't using the right words. Apparently " "other self" TfL" is wrong (funnily enough, it brings up the forum), and instead I should have searched up "other self TfL". Apparently it's from 2011, about 7 years ago!

It's called Self/Other and is from 2008/9, as already stated above.
