<snip>
Short description:
LUL is seeking a depot signalling solution that can be deployed in multiple depots with minimal customisation.
As depot layouts change more frequently than the mainline, LUL is seeking to ensure that the system is fully reconfigurable, in order to ensure that minor enhancements to the depot configuration can be implemented internally.
<snip>
Description of the procurement:
TfL is conducting this procurement through the negotiated procedure with call for competition to identify a service provider for the Depot control system requirement.
The procurement strategy is for a framework for a single supplier to provide concept design, detailed design, installation and commissioning of depot signal and control systems and enabling works from other existing frameworks for duration of 8 years. The procurement process will be governed by the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016.
The successful Tenderer will be awarded a single supplier general framework agreement.
<snip>
Information about a framework agreement or a dynamic purchasing system
The procurement involves the establishment of a framework agreement
Framework agreement with a single operator
In the case of framework agreements, provide justification for any duration exceeding 8 years:
The Depot Programme has been planned for a eight year timeframe to maximise opportunities for London Underground (LUL) to allow as many depot upgrades feasible within the timeframe.
