This is the first photo of this quiz that comes in two parts. The first is below. I'll post the second picture at some point this evening, I'll try for around 9:30pm but I can't guarantee that - altough seeing how clever you lot are you may not need it! (Click for a larger version - 498kb)

My first thought was Stockwell too. I remember a grille like that there on the side of the station from when I worked there.

B*gger. My pictures are hosted on the servers of the Swansea University Computer Society, which depends on the University network for its internet connection. It appears that the university network has fallen over again (due soley to the incompetence of those responsible for running it). If you want to complain, send me a PM and I'll give you details. If we're very lucky it will be fixed tomorrow, if not it will be fixed on Monday. I'm not at home at the moment and so don't have access to my local copies of the images to upload elsewhere. What I'll do is link to the second image below. If the network is fixed by the time I log on tomorrow morning, I'll put up tomorrows image in its own thread then and give you the answer to both that picture and today's on Monday morning (It is unlikely I'll be online tomorrow evening). If the network is not fixed until Monday, then I'll put up Sunday and Monday's pictures then, running them in parallel and give you the answer to today's question on Monday evening and Sunday's and Monday's on Tuesday morning, when we'll be back as planned (if I've got it right). Sorry for this. Day 10 - Part 2(Click on image for the full size version, circa 490KB)

You mean, you'll post them, as long as your hosting facility doesn't keel over again!? But, you did try! Not to worry lad!

You mean, you'll post them, as long as your hosting facility doesn't keel over again!? Indeed. I can't complain too much as I get my hosting for free by virtue of being a life member of the computer society. Its not the part of the network controlled by them that is the problem (99% of the time) but the part controlled by the university.

It isn't the station (sorry can't remember) taken about 1 car length back from the pointy end NB rail platform of the Jubilee towards Stratford where the DLR runs elevated directly overhead it? I "walked" the new eastern end stations of the Jubilee (*) about 2001/2, and not cheated by enjoying my Video125 VHS tape tonight :-)
(*) sadly, only the bits common punters are allowed on. :-(

Sounds a bit like dominoes, one falls over, the whole lot goes. Actually, that isn't what happens. A good analogy is actually to be had in LU terms using the Jubilee Line: Imagine my pictures are located at Canons Park, and to view them you have to go there. You are starting from many different locations on the network, and there are lots of ways to get there - if there is a blockage somewhere, you can take another route to get to your destination. It wont be the quickest route but you will get there. However, Canons Park is located on a spur and so there is only one way to get there once you get to Wembley Park. On this occasion, there was a problem at Kingsbury that meant it was closed and nothing could get through in either direction. People on other computers run by Swansea University (Queensbury) and run by the computer socierty (Stanmore) can see the images at Canons Park, but they can't see this forum because that is in Central London. You can get to the forum in Central London, but when you try to view the pictures at Canons Park, you can get as far as Wembley Park but no futher.

Answer: This is the back wall of the eastbound Circle/H&C/Met platform at Moorgate, follow the wall along to the right and you come to the wide corridor towards the deep lines and main exit. The Green tiling is on a pillar.
Lloyd was spot on with his guess, even before the full picture was posted (let alone visible), so well done.
