I start at a station named to match its neighbour (1), I take the direction that offers me the longer journey to a station near where I should have been able to see a cup by now (2).
Changing lines, I go to a big house west of east (3) and change again. I wave to DD en route (4) before alighting in an urban area (5) to see a train on a mountain (6). Resuming my journey I choose the little train to the station for the old museum (7 and 8).
I choose not to leave the station and follow time to the bear (9). From here I do as you do in Monopoly (10), and then continue to stand by a pipe (11), before changing to reach 007 (12). Once there I change again to reach the middle (13) where I head north and win (14).
Where did I start? Where did I finish? Where did I go in betweeen?

Phew! I start at a station named to match its neighbour (1) Choice of a few here, but I'll say Harrow-On-The-Hill, westbound as being (the longer journey) as in 2. I take the direction that offers me the longer journey to a station near where I should have been able to see a cup by now (2). Well, I don't "do" football, so Wimbledon or Wembley. I'll go for Wembley. Changing lines, I go to a big house west of east (3) - Ruislip Manor, west of Eastcote - and change again. I wave to DD en route (4) (he is "Uxbridge'ish - not on the DL?) before alighting in an urban area (5) Sudbury Town, to see a train on a mountain (6). Alperton. Resuming my journey I choose the little train (Picc) to the station for the old museum (7 and 8). 2 of them, Covent Garden for the tremp. closed LU Museum, and Holborn for the closed C/L British Museum Station. I choose not to leave the (Holborn) station and follow time (?) to the bear (9). C'L to Nott Hill Gate, then north to Paddington. From here I do as you do in Monopoly (10) (? not got a board handy - Baker Street?) and then continue (on Jubbly) to stand by a pipe (11) - (a Drain, Waterloo), before changing to reach 007 (12) Gosh this is a difficult one. Bond Street? Once there I change again to reach the middle (13) Tottenham Court Road, where I head north and win (14). Mornington Crescent Where did I start? Where did I finish? Where did I go in betweeen? [/b]

Phew! I start at a station named to match its neighbour (1) Choice of a few here, but I'll say Harrow-On-The-Hill Nope, I started at Queensbury - the origin of the name of the station (and thus place) is that it fits nicely with Kingsbury. westbound as being (the longer journey) as in 2. You get what were termed "follow-through marks" in my GCSE maths. Southbound is obviously the longer journey from Queensbury, but westbound is longer from HotH. I take the direction that offers me the longer journey to a station near where I should have been able to see a cup by now (2). Well, I don't "do" football, so Wimbledon or Wembley. I'll go for Wembley. Indeed, I should have been able to see a cup match at the redeveloped Wembley stadium long before now. I don't "do" tennis, but I'm not aware of any overrunning developments at Wimbledon. Changing lines, I go to a big house west of east (3) - Ruislip Manor, west of Eastcote Spot on. - and change again. I wave to DD en route (4) (he is "Uxbridge'ish - not on the DL?) This is a reference to his taking a wrong'un at Hanger Lane junction and ending up on the Picc to South Harrow rather than the District to Ealing Broadway. As this happened before you were a member here I wouldn't expect you to know this! before alighting in an urban area (5) Sudbury Town I was actually thinking of Acton Town here, having forgotten about Sudbury Town , to see a train on a mountain (6). Alperton. I hadn't thought of that one! I was actually referring to the LT Museum Depot at Acton Town, built on the sidings known as The Alps (I forget why they are known as this though). Resuming my journey I choose the little train (Picc) Correct. to the station for the old museum (7 and 8). 2 of them, Covent Garden for the tremp. closed LU Museum, and Holborn for the closed C/L British Museum Station. I was actually thinking of the Natural History Museum at South Ken, but the LT Museum would fit with this stage (but not the next). You don't get any marks for British Museum station as I'd have to change to visit that. I choose not to leave the (Holborn) station South Ken actually and follow time (?) to the bear (9). C'L to Nott Hill Gate, then north to Paddington. This is actually the Circle Line Clockwise (hence "follow time") from South Ken to Paddington. From here I do as you do in Monopoly (10) (? not got a board handy - Baker Street?) nope, I took a trip to Marylebone Stationand then continue (on Jubbly) Nope, Bakerloo to stand by a pipe (11) - (a Drain, Waterloo), No, although this would have made sense had I been on the Jublee. It actually refers to the sihouette (sp?) of Sherlock Holmes (with his characteristic pipe) design on the tiling at Baker Street Bakerloo platforms. before changing to reach 007 (12) Gosh this is a difficult one. Bond Street? Yes, Bond Street. I though this was probably the second easiest though! Once there I change again to reach the middle (13) Tottenham Court Road, Yes, Tottenham Court Road. where I head north and win (14). Mornington Crescent Of course! Not bad, but not totally correct. Where did I start? Where did I finish? Where did I go in betweeen? [/b][/quote]
