See Day 1's thread for the complete introduction to the quiz, but I did forget to suggest you try and give as much information about each picture that you can. Some will be easier than others in this regard. Here is Day 2's picture: (no larger version available)

Looks to me like ECMDT, I think Road 26 (one of the 2 roads behind ECM EB pfm). I can see the wire fence in the background, and what I think is Roads 19/20 leading off to the right past what I think is the E end shunter cabin. Shot likely taken from the EB ECM pfm. I also know there are 2 sectionalization boxes at that location. To the right (behind the light pole) is (I think) the E end exit road onto the main lines.

Looks to me like ECMDT, I think Road 26 (one of the 2 roads behind ECM EB pfm). Just had to correct you on this point - there is no 26 road as far as the operational depot at Ealing Common is concerned. 26 road is one of those that now forms part of the museum depot The roads you describe are 31 & 32 ;D ;D

Thanks Colin - I stand corrected! I was at work without benefit of my stack of diagrams and mis-remembered the number. Ironic, as I was recently fixing the 2 roads I alluded to in the virtual rendition. I still feel that's the location. I believe those 2 roads are used infrequently, and the rusty look suggests so.

Answer:
This photograph was taken by Aspect, who describes the scene as "Ealing Common Depot shunting neck. (clues, tail lights showing yet rear cab door is open + rusty rails)" He doesn't mention which road numbers they are, but I suspect you are right!
