Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the February Quiz here on District Dave's forum. If all goes to plan, every day will see a new picture posted to the quiz section and the challenge is to identify the location. Some will be easier than others (some are probably very easy, others I suspect quite hard), but regardless of how long it takes for the correct answer to be guessed (or not guessed) I will not post the answer until about 24 hours after the picture was posted, although if by then you are nowhere near the answer I may choose to give a clue instead and run the question a bit longer. You can work individually or work together, that is your choice. There are no prizes beyond the kudos of getting the correct answer. Most of the pictures were taken by me, but I am not the only contributor, and none have been published elsewhere before. Some pictures have been modified to remove sign text, etc (some more skilfully than others), others have been cropped, but no other modifications have been made. Where a significant edit has been made, I will post a link to the unmodified picture with the answer. Some photographs have been scaled down, where this has been done a link will be provided to the full size version. Now the introductions are out of the way, here is the first picture - Click the picture for the full size image (867kb) Enjoy!

It's on a 4 track section - with the outer lines seemingly on 'express' platforms. Therefore between Finchley Road and Wembley Park. It cannot be Finchley Road, West Hampstead, Dollis Hill or Wembley Park. Therefore, it is either, Neasden, Willesden Green or Kilburn. I reckon it's Willesden Green personally.

why can't it be elsewhere with 4 tracks, Harrow to Moor Park, Northfields to Barons Court? OK, it's not as those all have two island platforms, or not enough platforms and there appears to be some more tracks on the left, which would be the Chiltern line.
It can't be Kilburn, as that only has jubilee platforms, meaning it's down to two, both of which have a central island and outside platforms. Looking at the roundel, there's too many letters for it to be Neasden (nor does it look like neasden), meaning that it must be Willesden Green. I'm going to go one step further, and say it's looking North as well.
Also note the lack of platform furniture, like benches on the outside platforms - after all they don't get used much these days.

Definatley not Kilburn as there are only 2 platforms there! Sadly the line that station is on nowadays is nowhere as good as its "Grandad"

Answer It is indeed Willesden Green, but photographed looking east (southbound) along the Jubilee Line platforms.
