What on earth has happened to the TfL website? It's slowly corroding or something...
I had a colleague ask me about the price of his annual 1-3 again - he usually does; I seem to be an unofficial travel agent for the place.
First off, I went on there to find the PDF of fares. That's no longer linked that I can find - only the fare finder web app seems to be there.
Second, when I went to the contact page to contact the webmaster: there's NO "comment on the website" anymore or address for the webmaster, which is a real discourtesy, and there's NO "contact us by email" or even a web form anymore. Just Twitter or FaceBork, neither of which I use. I can phone (for a fee), use a text-talk hard of hearing phone, or write using dead trees and squid blood.
It's utterly bizarre!

There is a PDF of travelcard prices - content.tfl.gov.uk/adult-fares-2018.pdf - it could be far more prominent though. Here's how I found it: - From the homepage choose "Fares and payments" in the bar at the top
- Scroll down and click the "Fare" box on the left (it's below the Oystercard picture)
- Click "Tube and rail fares" (top of the right hand column)
- Click on "Adult" to scroll down to the relevant section of the page
- Click the box labelled "Use our tool to find adult caps and travelcard prices"
- Enter the journey details, e.g. Zone 3 to Zone 1 and click the "show prices" button
- Scroll past the blue box and the two-tone grey boxes, and just above the black footer is a box labelled "Adult caps and travelcard prices" which is a link to the PDF
As for contacting the webmaster, I can only suggest using the London Underground complaints form and choosing "Other" when it asks what your query relates to. Make it clear at the start of your comments that you're talking about the website. It should (hopefully) make its way to the right people, although perhaps not direct. You could also try techforum.tfl.gov.uk/c/site-feedback (the feedback location for the data feeds website) but that doesn't look particularly active - someone posted there 5 days ago and hasn't had a response yet. If all else fails I guess you could send an FOI asking for the contact details of the website maintenance team. Either they'll give them to you or point to where you can find them on the website.

Cheers. That is a total palaver. It's one of the pieces of information that I include in the staff handbook for where I work. I've never had that much trouble to find it before. The drilling down to the more and more specific... so you stop when it goes beyond the specificity that you need.
