Except he's not actually in the helicopter, he's about three feet right of tail rota! It looks like he's actually sitting at home playing Flight Sim. As for the original question, I concur that it looks Victoria/ St James' Park area.

Looks more like the lower Thames - maybe the Erith/Dartford area?

But, on some of the scans, there isn't much clarity at low levels, especially rural areas...
I prefer local.live.com - much easier to work with!
