I passed through the points failure at Woodford today. I was excited to see the train passing a danger aspect, with the "Route Secured" board lit up.

The yellow light on the (back) of the train wasn't flashing; does this mean it was passing the signal in coded manual, or does the yellow light only flash on the front of a train being driven in restricted manual?
