Route maps of the Frankfrut systems (U Bahn, S Bahn and Trams) - www.vgf-ffm.de/english/service.html (click on "route maps") The map is much harder to use to navigate than the LU one, with much poorer use made of colours for example. Chris

I love that Paris interactive one. LUL should emulate.

I love that Paris interactive one. LUL should emulate. I'll second that. Mind you, my french is a little rusty! I wonder if Harry Beck thought his map idea would become pretty much the world standard for railway maps...

When I went to Berlin the had an interactive map on wall somewhere whereby you pressed your start point station and the your destination and the route to take lit up. Ir would also print out a summary too Including bus/tram routes and times. Great Idea

Some fantastic links there guys - keep them coming! One day (when I finally get my site up to date again : I do want to try to do some comparative stuff between 'our' system and others around the world, so those have given me some great research sources! (Note to Q8: Delete this thread and I'll never speak to you again! ) So much to do, so little time...............................

Why would I want to delete something so useful Guv'nor? I have only deleted things like out of date posts showing events that have passed or my own, now redundant, items.
As for never speaking to me again..........well you've never spoken to me YET
