5. I would swear is my beloved Hounslow West! It's not Hatton Cross I am sure. Yours truly was there the morning it opened in its new location to go to work from!
No 1 could perhaps be Plaistow?

I'm puffed and chuffed! I reckoned on Plaistow as it is C Stock, next to NR tracks, and there is a junction 'tree' for a bay I guessed..Plaistow is the only likely reversing point for H&C I thought. As to HW, note the slight curvature of the wall in the right distance. I think HX has/had 'FIRST TRAIN' both platforms for use when reversing?

I missed when 38TS went to HX. I believe that the describers were the same as for HW and included:
ACTON TOWN
HYDE PARK CNR
KINGS CROSS
WOOD GREEN
ARNOS GROVE
OAKWOOD
COCKFOSTERS
SPECIAL
Don't think West Kensington, Northfields, Hammersmith were there but I may be wrong!
