The last few days at London Bridge, certainly on the eastbound platform at least, there’s been an illuminated orange T with a red cross through it next to the platform doors closed indicator light. I was wondering whether anyone might please be able to shed some light on what this means, as it’s not something I’ve seen before. Probably something incredibly obvious, but I can’t think of what!
Many thanks in advance.

It might be something related to ATO operations. But then again, I'm pretty sure everything relating to ATO (from the T/Ops perspective) is now in the cab...

My guess was something to do with ATO/signalling etc., but not sure what. Only at London Bridge I think, checked Bermondsey and Canary Wharf.

Hmm. Well I guess all we can do now is wait until someone with more experience can answer.

Tunnel Telephone Wires (and associated equipment) not in use/defective.
Has the same meaning as the big black-on-red-T-with-a-cross-through signs at other stations - a different method is required due to the PEDs. Nothing to do with either the signalling system nor ATO.

From my ancient knowledge I thought that's what it would be. Some things never change very much. Otherwise a T sign means termination of temporary speed restriction.
