Intrigued by the thread "trolley service on class 315", and in particular this post from sunnyday: I was wondering what other unusual announcements it was possible to program in to TfL rolling stock, be that underground, TfL Rail, Overground or DLR?

TFL Rail use the PIS system used on National Rail services. This video shows a variety of different possible announcements on LO class 378’s.

I was wondering what other unusual announcements it was possible to program in to TfL rolling stock, be that underground, TfL Rail, Overground or DLR? S Stock have few unusual pre-programmed announcements other than safety related ones, one is: "This train calls at Wembley Park" available to all S Stock drivers Refurbished D Stock had many unused pre-programmed announcements, unless you kept the manual which was issued when the first train arrived back! Some once-a-year events were available; "alight at Acton Town, for Gunnersbury Park and the London Mela" "alight at the next station for the event in Walpole Park" "there maybe disruption to services in Central London due to the Lord Mayors' Show" "there maybe disruption to services in Central London due to the London Marathon" etc. Planned engineering works messages could be set-up, such as: "due to planned engineering works, there are no District Line services, between Bromley-by-Bow and Hornchurch" for example Service disruption could also be set the same way as above, others were: "Marylebone National Rail station is closed" all other London terminals were included.
