As we approached Stratford just before 8:30am, I discovered Mel laughing, with tears streaming down her cheeks. I took off my headphones to listen to an announcement from the train speakers in, what I believe to be Italian... certainly a southern European language. According to this morning's service announcement that I missed, it now appears that TfL Rail have introduced a trolley service, that was about to make it's way through the class 315 unit.... and we were now hearing what I believe to be the same announcement for the benefit of our European cousins. That's a new one !! How the trolley would negotiate its way through the inter car doorways or push it's way past passengers as they blocked the gangways was omitted apparently.... I'd have paid to watch that !!

Are you sure this is not an alternative to leasing out the fleet?

Haha - I think that is manual message 38 on the PIS system. (Possibly another number)
