Central line trains are currently subject to severe delays along the whole line because of 'emergency engineering works at Liverpool Street.' Can anyone give us a clue what's going on?
Also just seen the tail end of a train coming in wrong road to Shepherd's Bush WB platform, sit for approx 30s and reverse out again. The WB train I'm currently on is stopping every 50m or so between SB and White City... All very strange!

No idea what the issue was, but after any significant disruption you will often get queuing of trains towards White City and Leytonstone due to crew relief issues, with trains and drivers not in the correct places.

Problem was a block joint failure at Liv St apparently.

Cost £1m i am told. All becuase of a bit of lipping over the IBJ that dropped the track circuit. (Y)

I’m assuming that IBJ is insulating block joint?
