Does anyone else remember this? I recall the planned services being a mess.
For example reducing Deptford, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, Belvedere, Erith and Slade Green to 2tph, Cannon Street circulars only, no Dartford trains, 4tph Gillingham semi fast service 2tph via Blackheath and Lewisham into Charing Cross and 2tph via Greenwich into Cannon Street.
No more Victoria trains from the Bexleyheath line, instead there was supposed to have been 4tph from Victoria to Lewisham, then 2tph to Plumstead and 2tph to Sidcup, in they even planned to have a cross South London metro service from Clapham Junction to Plumstead in the peaks.
Gravesend via Sidcup fast from London Bridge to New Eltham, this ironically is happening from 2018 (I wonder if someone on the consultation board lives on the Sidcup line and has lobbied hard for fast trains on that line hmmmm ;-) )
Hayes would've been Cannon Street trains only.
The Penge East line was to have gone up to 6tph! 4tph all stops to Beckenham Junction, 2tph to Orpington or Sevenoaks not calling at West Dulwich, Sydenham Hill or Kent House.
Not sure about the Mainline services but does anyone remember this? I recall reading about it in the New shopper in 2003/2004 and there was a lot of angry backlash at the time.
