Not sure where it is but the OHLE doesn't have heavy metal headspans so is reminiscent of GER/LNER main line variety. Additionally, the lineside hut is classic LNER concrete pre-fab design [and should probably be preserved somewhere before Network Rail demolish it!]. So I would say, the scene is between Highams Park and Chingford.

I would have gone with arun's reasoning, but as that's now discounted, the logical call is to say somewhere on the Enfield Town/Cheshunt branch?

Yes, but you're going to need to be more specific than that

Peering at Google maps looking for straight bits of railway together with lineside huts, one possibility seems to be "just north of Turkey Street".

Was the photo taken recently? - I think I might take a slope up there to see if the hut still exists. As an aside, I've recently produced masters for this hut in 1/43rd scale for Roxey Mouldings so they are on the market if you want one!

arun the photo was taken on 14 May this year, so the hut probably still exists.

If not, there's always the one between Bleath Gill and Stainmore summit.

I suspect the Stainmore one is currently under about 30feet of snow! However, perhaps the railway preservation chaps at Kirby Stephen could be persuaded to obtain it and move it idc.

I suspect the Stainmore one is currently under about 30feet of snow! It's not that bleak in the north! Current temperature around Stainmore is about 7°C.
