Depending on what you want, generally its best to ask around.

It’s a difficult question which I’ve wondered myself as I’ve thought, off and on, about selling my C-Stock destination blind and housing as it weighs a ton and has been in the back of my car for the best part of a year. eBay seems very random and it stuck me that there must be somewhere better. I came across this auction site, which sells railwayana stuff: it may or may not have anything tube related: www.gcrauctions.com

As an admin, could the backroom staff have a chat about having a thread to unite buyers and sellers. This could have a large disclaimer notice, and anyway further discussions could be via PM rather than in the thread.

As an admin, could the backroom staff have a chat about having a thread to unite buyers and sellers. This could have a large disclaimer notice, and anyway further discussions could be via PM rather than in the thread. There is a rule in place already regarding buying/selling items: This is really a discussion board not a marketplace and I guess my fear is that if we expanded the above rule we may see people joining with the specific objective of buying/selling items, rather than adding to the various discussions. To avoid taking this thread off-topic, maybe drop me a PM if I've missed something and you'd like to discuss this further?
