Right my turn for a quiz I think If I board a 1992 stock train later this year, and travel one stop, change onto another line and travel one stop, and then change onto a third line and travel ten stops and get off at a station with "Park" in it's name. Where do I start my journey and what's the full name of the station I get off at? PS- There's more than one route/answer. A lot more. See how many you can get!

Where do I start my journey and what's the full name of the station I get off at? Started at Waterloo and finished at Upton Park. The clue was :"later this year"

"Started at Waterloo and finished at Upton Park. The clue was :"later this year"" So you went: Waterloo - Bank 1 stop 1992 stock (W & C) Bank - Moorgate 1 stop (Northern Line) Moorgate - Upton Park 10 stops (H & C) An extra 'bonus' point to you, Met Apprentice, as believe it or not I hadn't seen any finishing with Upton Park! So there's another two aswell, where you start at St Paul's or Liverpool Street to travel to Bank, then Moorgate, then finish at Upton Park. There are still a good number to get though! "The clue was :"later this year"" This may be a clue for 'some' of the answers

Well, you could always do Oxford Circus (or Marble Arch) - Bond St. - Green Park - Finsbury Park, and this way you get 2 parks for the price of 1!!!!!!!

When whoosh mentioned later this year, I thought of Langdon Park the new station to open on the DLR....

Well I'm going to enter my own quiz (!), as I discovered two new answers this morning that I hadn't spotted ;D Oxford Circus OR Marble Arch - Bond Street 1992 stock 1 stop Central Line Bond Street - Baker Street 1 stop Jubilee Line Baker Street - Moor Park 10 stops Metropolitan Line Also Phil has PM'd me with another couple of answers: Holland Park OR Queensway (later this year!) - Notting Hill Gate 1 stop central '92 stock Notting Hill Gate - Bayswater 1 stop Circle Line Bayswater - Wimbledon Park 10 stops District Line tubeoperator92 - Langdon Park? You might have one there, I don't know. Where will this station be located? If you have got one, then that's (yet) another answer I didn't spot when I started the quiz! There's still another 20 answers/ combinations to get! Although 3 are a bit cheeky.

bethnal green/bank - liverpool st - moorgate (circle/met) - upton park (h&c)
here's a cheeky one... later this year can still be before queensway opens, so lancaster gate-nhg-bayswater-wimbledon park via the route given above.
west acton-ealing broadway-ealing common-hyde park corner (on a picc stopping at Turnham Green) is another cheeky one.
langdon park is between all saints and devons road and only Bow and Tower Gateway are viable interchanges to the DLR in terms of this quiz, and both are too close.

Someone's been busy studying maps! ;D ;D bethnal green/bank - liverpool st - moorgate (circle/met) - upton park (h&c) That's another one that I didn't see! I didn't see any finishing at Upton Park. here's a cheeky one... later this year can still be before queensway opens, so lancaster gate-nhg-bayswater-wimbledon park via the route given above. That's a very cheeky one, hadn't thought of not using using Queensway. west acton-ealing broadway-ealing common-hyde park corner (on a picc stopping at Turnham Green) is another cheeky one. That's one of the cheeky ones I was looking for! Only another..er....*Rustles scruffy pieces of notepaper*..19 left to get! Unless there's even MORE I haven't seen of course ;D

just seen another 15 waterloo/st pauls/liverpool street - bank - moorgate - westbourne park/northwick park/moor park bank / bethnal green - liverpool st - moorgate - westbourne park/northwick park/moor park the moor park ones are fast, stopping at Wembley Park (which is the norm now anyway, and not some trick) I was so interested in the trick I forgot that a normal Piccadilly would get you to Green Park! therefore, I make it 20 and have west acton - ealing broadway - ealing common - green park. I think I'll leave it there: here's a list of viable interchanges (at the moment) onto the third line: Ealing Common (start at West Acton) High Street Ken (start at Lancaster Gate and Holland Park) Bayswater (start at Lancaster Gate and Holland Park) Baker Street (start at Marble Arch and Oxford Circus) Green Park (start at Marble Arch, Bond Street, Oxford Circus and TCR) Piccadilly Circus (start at Bond Street and TCR) Warren Street (start at Bond Street, Oxford Circus, TCR and Holborn) Leicester Square (start at Oxford Circus and Holborn) Cannon Street (start at St Pauls and Liverpool Street) Tower Hill (start at St Pauls and Liverpool Street) Shadwell (start at St Pauls and Liverpool Street) London Bridge (start at St Pauls and Liverpool Street) Moorgate (start at St Pauls, Liverpool Street, Bank and Bethnal Green) Aldgate (start at Bank and Bethnal Green) Aldgate East (start at Bank and Bethnal Green) Bow Road/Bow Church (start at Bethnal Green and Stratford) Stepney Green (start at Bethnal Green and Stratford) West Ham (start at Mile End and Leyton) I've found some very annoying very close (eg 9/11 away, rather than 10) ones and some others, but i'll stick on 20 as I don't want to hog the quiz. BTW the "at the moment" is a big clue to another trick (also W&C is out in this list - can't give you all the answers) EDIT:oops, had a station that shouldn't have been there as "at the moment" it's not a stop but it's been used anyway.

I think you've earned some bonus points there The five finishing at Moor Park I didn't see - I didn't know the fast trains to Amersham stop at Wembley Park all the time now. They used to run fast from Finchley Road to Harrow-on-the Hil. (Then fast to Moor Park of course). I was so interested in the trick I forgot that a normal Piccadilly would get you to Green Park! therefore, I make it 20 and have west acton - ealing broadway - ealing common - green park. LOL! Me too. I missed that one aswell ;D Still another ten available answers on my scruffy piece of paper list to get.
