For those that know, or drive on the line, please answer by PM rather than post.
Is there a station on the LU system at which you have to use an UP escalator to get from booking hall to platform, and if so, where?

Greenford it is, as stated by the SIX PMs.
Intriguingly I also had one PM with West Ham as the answer, the up escalator going to the Jubilee platforms......

You should have said incidentally, then we could've called you Rob. Sorry to take this off-topic, but I was watching the Met Main Line DEV that i bought today, he says '' incidentally '' a few times then, and that was 11 years ago!! Also says '' the crewe of .... '' !! ''This is Harrow On The Hill, the crewe of the Metropolitan Line'' - I had to smile ;D

Also says '' the crewe of .... '' !! ''This is Harrow On The Hill, the crewe of the Metropolitan Line'' - I had to smile ;D This has been mentioned before on this very forum - but as I don't want to go trawling through it to find one post, i'll repeat the reply given then: There is only one 'Crewe' on LUL - and that is Earls Court ;D ;D ;D
