Is it possibly a trainstop going down a bit slowly?

I've seen loads of LU signals doing that, esp. ones with arbor lights.

junction signals only clear when 3 filaments are alight so before the trainstop goes down u usually see the red and the arbour lights come on first then it goes down and clears

looks like a dual aspect to me, number of reasons for this, the most common one being ,,, trainstop failed in the up position

Yeah - something I've always wanted to clear up.... take this as an example:
Say if a signal was at danger, then it clears. Why does it go Red to Red / Green to Green?
Is it because an aspect has to be displayed at all times? Or is it to with trainstops as described in above posts?

there is one feed for the green light which comes from the signal relay and the red light is fed from the signal relay and the trainstop so if you had a dual aspect when the signal was failing it means the trainstop is up and failing as its making the contact to keep the red light alight but you would get a green because the signal relay is operating correctly
