where am I?

I Start off at a certain station. I go Amount (1) of stations. I change into one of the same kind. I go Amount (2) of stations. I go back where I came from and go Amount (3) of stations. I change and go 5 stations with a different line. I change to the line I first went on and go 2 stations.

Amount (1) = ?
Amount (2) = Amount (1) / 2 + 2
Amount (3) = Amount (2) - 3

Where am I? And where did I start off?

EDIT: I´m logging on at about 19.00 again. If anyone has it until then -

A1 in Mathematics...

Seriously, this reminds me of the old puzzles in New Scientist which often finished with the statement 'If you had one more piece of information you could solve this puzzle, and, now you've been told that, you can'.

Right, I shall reveal the answer - and then start another one - but easier + 1 hint added EACH DAY depending on how I feel

Actually there is really no way to do any algrebraic expression here, it´s really trial + error.

Amount 1 = (18)
Amount 2 = 18 / 2 + 2 so (10)
Amount 3 = 10 - 3 so (7)

I Start off at a certain station(Harrow & Wealdstone). I go 18 stations. I change into one of the same kind(67 stock). I go 10 stations(Walthamstow Central). I go back where I came from and go 7 stations(Kings X). I change (H&C/Circle) and go 5 stations with a different line. I change to the line I first went on (bakerpoo)and go 2 stations. (maida vale)

Starting point: H & Wealdstone

Ending point : Maida Vale.

A QUIZ THAT LASTED VERY LONG!!!!
