Whilst at Stratford the other day, I picked up a seemingly helpful leaflet, Which Platform for my train from Stratford? (It features what looks like a Mark 3 coach in pre-NSE BR livery, which is an interesting throwback) Of course, such a leaflet is highly desirable; is there a more confusing platform numbering system anywhere else? However, it's full of mistakes. Misspelt station names (Hatfield Peveral, Stanstead Mountfitchet?); non existent stations (Lea Bridge Road), bad advice on platforms (Liverpool St platform 9, no mention of TFL Rail's own service from 5: Shenfield on TFL rail only, no fast trains?))....and no mention at all of the DLR. Nor of platform 10A and its pre-0900 services. In fact the unhelpfulness of the leaflet is parallelled only by the uselessness of the map on the National Rail website!

I'm just pondering if you were catching the 19:86 from Stratford this evening 🤣

Was I on the 19.86 from Stratford on Sunday? No, because leaflet in hand, I couldn't find platform 19...
