The latest seems to be that there are a number of injuries, none reported as life-threatening at this stage. The word "Terrorism" is not mentioned in the BBC News article, which is probably a good thing.

Obviously this is a fast moving story. We will leave the thread open for now but please be clear that any speculation should be strictly avoided. We have been quoted in national newspapers before now and obviously don't want to be linked to any inaccuracies or speculation.
Please think carefully about what you post before pressing the 'Create Post' button.
Thank you

I am at work at the moment. I was a passenger on an eastbound train at West Brompton when the power was taken off. If it is still appropriate, this evening I will write about my experience, which was all very calm.

It is being treated as terrorism now The Met are treating it as a "terrorist incident" but that doesn't mean it is. The video doing the rounds shows a white plastic bucket in a Lidl carrier bag with a small fire burning in the bucket.

The video doing the rounds shows a white plastic bucket in a Lidl carrier bag with a small fire burning in the bucket. Some images of the item in question also shows wires hanging out of the side of it, and what would appear to be a gas canister of some sort. That combination of items is a very odd one to be carrying around day to day
