Amongst other bits and bobs I have in my collection is this map... (selected extracts) So for something a little different from the normal quizzes, who can give the most exact date for its printing? (You may well end up being more exact than I...)

My guess: 1986.

I would say Phil is in the right sort of area. I'd go for 86 as well.

The dates I suspect are between 1986 and 1991.
Over 1986 because of HT4
Under 1991 because of Hammersmith showing METROPOLITAIN not HAMMERSMITH & CITY.
I don't know if anyone else can narrow it down more with the Uxbridge service pattern / Turnham Green / KXSP BR interchange logos...

1986-1990; the H&C got its separate identity back in 1990 IIRC.
Since the Picc stops at Turnham Green all day Sundays on this map, and since this service pattern was always rather fluid before its complete abolition, I don't think it's a useful metric. The Uxbridge service pattern is a far better one, IMO; IIRC the full off-peak service was restored in the early 1990s.
Personally I'd agree with everyone else and say that it is a 1986 map printed for the opening of the Heathrow loop.

I'd narrowed it down myself to 1986 < and > 1991, (tho 1990 if that's when the H&C came into being)... I didn't know if anyone else could get it down more though.
When was that style of map replaced though?
Mid 1990s when I first used the tube ISTR them being more of the modern style - but sans those disabled signs and interchanges had little tails either side.

The fact that the under/over circular through arrows are retained is the most obvious metric of the map. If only I knew when they disappeared from frontline usage...
