Today I received a rather peculiar email from the LTM Museum titled: "Introducing...THE NEW S STOCK 2017 MODEL!" It links to this page: www.ltmuseumshop.co.uk/models/trams-trains/bachmann-s-stock-2017-4-car-set-35-990aAt first I thought that perhaps they had updated the model with the new ATC antennae, for example, but upon looking at the pictures I can't find any differences to the original model myself. Does anyone have any idea what's changed? edit: a mod may wish to merge this with the existing thread from 2015/16.

Looking at the photo, they have just used the same one as before. I notice that there are two new versions with an A and a B. MY guess is that they are just renumberings of the trains with different destinations. So one could be a district line and the other a different met, or a circle/H&C.
Also are the new versions more expensive? Am i right in thinking that the original release was under £300?

Glad it's not just me! First thing I did was to look for the antennae! edit: a mod may wish to merge this with the existing thread from 2015/16. For now let's keep it as a separate thread about the "new" version of the model, if it turns out to be practically identical then we will merge the two threads.Edit to add: Former thread is here.

Different numbers, which also appear to be larger than they should be - at least on the front end.
So we've still got an MS car available with no smaller window and no shoe gear.
If you've got money to burn it's worth picking one up for the detailing project, but it remains extremely overpriced for what it is. Very, very disappointing (but not at all surprising, going off the LTM shop's continued race to the bottom).
