I can imagine LUL paying out millions in Service Delay Refunds over the next new weeks, as people can log onto the LUL TFL website in order to claim a Service Delay Refund in respect of their Delayed Journey that day.

Well according to the diagram 38 points are for the trap road at the east end of the reception road, protecting moves entering and leaving the sidings to platform 6 in the even of a SPAD at FF49.I believe 38 trap-points were removed last year (11-12 July) with work undertaken at 31/35/36 points. It was the weekend of 21/22 November 2015.

It was the weekend of 21/22 November 2015. My apologies, I was quoting T/C14, for 2 weeks – Monday 06 July to Sunday 19 July 2015, which must (as usual!) be some months out of date

The reason both the Piccadilly and District lines were suspended was that in the Earl's Court control room all power was lost to the diagram and signalling frames. All of the signals on the ground were working normally, but there was no control of anything nor could we observe the passage of trains through an area. Power wasn't restored for just under an hour. Control room with nothing on the diagram
