Looking through WTT69 for the Central line and I noticed there's one train, 47, that has 26 trips!
Is that the most of any WTT? Must end up with the most mileage, even if it is a Woodford-Hainault-Ealing Bwy?

Shorter Lines such as Bakerloo, H&C, District (Wimbledon-Edgware Rd), Victoria will rack up more trips per day, into the 30s but not necessarily more mileage. On weekdays the Waterloo & City goes to 158 trips and at weekends the Olympia service goes up to 56 trips. Also Night Tube lines some trains start early on Friday morning and finish into Saturday but the trip count is reset around 2am. e.g. Central train 305.

I feel sure the Chesham shuttle used to beat that, but would not beat the mileage, I suspect something on the Met with not to many Aldgates will run up top mileage.

mileage all depends on reformations on the day ;-)

Yeah, there are a couple of trips I've noticed already that are from Woodford Sdgs to Rd 21 (presume that's a reverser on the loop just outside the station?). That trip can't be more than a couple of hundred metres?
One other question about the WTT: A couple of the WB trips say 'to Sdg' after terminating at Ruislip Gdns. Where is that sdg? I presume it's not the east end of Ruislip depot?
Thanks in advance!

Just had another look - the trip actually terminates at Northolt, and there's a turnback there. Thank you very much, though!

For the most part, trips that Woodford via Hainault trains make into 21 road after terminating at Woodford platform 2 are not counted as separate trips, to the best of my knowledge. They are counted as part of the trip to Woodford.
However, the shunt from Woodford stabling sidings into 21 road is counted as 1 trip. The train then works from 21 road into Woodford platform 3 at the start of the second trip. Similarly, the shunt from 21 road back into the stabling sidings is a separate trip.

Hi tut, I had another look at the WTT, it is Northolt! So you did! Sorry, I was busy typing/searching through the WTT while you and superteacher were solving the issue =) Out of interest, train 30 on a weekday runs 07z12 Ruislip Depot to 23 road at West Ruislip (arrives 07:19), which is the siding superteacher mentioned. It is, as he rightly says, adjacent to the island platform and is the legacy of the original plan for the Central line to run all the way to Denham. What is now a simple siding would have been a bay road, and the simple island platform we have now was designed for a through station.
