basically yeah but the offical way the one lock which is never lifted is the point lock that is a instant sacking offence
a signal lever lock can be lifted but only if the correct procedure takes place and its a long process with many phone calls

i'll give a clue to the lever one ok it is used at barking and also many other large sites (zebra-stripe one) [Wild Guess] Is it something to do with a slot ? [/Wild Guess]

Slot levers weren't always red/yellow stripes. At Harrow all the slot levers are red with a single black stripe. If you go to www.wbsframe.mste.co.uk/and select the page on Harrow on the Hill, the eighth & ninth pictures from the top show some of the slot levers (Nos 131,132,133 & 134) and show that they are indeed mostly red but the black stripe can be made out in the ninth picture.

Is it a Benkler 6 hole glued assembly used for continuously welded flat bottom rail?
I've heard of a type of mortar used to embed running rails which was tried out on LU was called Edilon.

You and BAET should team up and send a joint missive to the webmaster of that site, telling them all the things he's getting wrong. BAET already groused about the wrongness of some parts of the site a while back.
