It is with great pleasure that I point you in this direction: Virtual District Team siteAfter almost 9 years in development, the first release of the Virtual District is now public, and generating a lot of interest. Also a lot of related posts on UKTSAnd videos on YouTubeI wish Dave were still here to see it. He contributed a great deal of feedback on the trains and route over the years and made it so much better. Best to all, Jimi

What parts of the line does this cover?

We have modelled the western end of the line, from Richmond and Ealing Broadway to as far east as Gloucester Road and High St Kensington. The Wimbledon branch is currently as far as Putney Bridge. All depots and sidings are included. The Olympia branch is included also, as well as a highly detailed Lillie Bridge Depot. It is all modelled circa 2008 so it has all the old track layouts. D78 and 73TS are included with Battery Loco no.43 and Turbots. Currently it's a 4 part install, but a new single package is being tested to avoid problems with missing textures and assets. You do need to have the Isle of Wight and London to Brighton routes installed to be able to run the District Line. If you haven't got these it is well worth the expense.

I have just seen and listened to the first part of this. SO boring. The commentator obviously loves the sound of his own voice, and so many interior shots when the train is moving and ought to be focussing on the journey.

I imagine loads of people on here know perfectly well. Brilliant visuals though.

Hi, the Piccadilly line vehicle codes don't work properly, I typed 866F (for a not-in-service car 866) in Scenario Editor, and the car number doesn't appear.
What are the full list of destination codes so I can tinker with the train information boards? I want to know if one will be for Mordor via Bank or something.

Do the 1973 Stock even have destination codes for 'Morden via Bank'? (They might or they might not. TBH I don't really know much about those stock...)

Assuming we're talking about reality, no.

Here is a more up to date link. We've simplified the install process to help users avoid issues. Uses TS2018 as the host simulator. You'll need also the Isle of Wight and London to Brighton route addons available on Steam in order to run the route. lur.boards.net/thread/141/district-line-easy-installHere is a much nicer video review from the highly respected Alan Thomson which shows you a bit of the route. He discusses the area it covers which is basically almost everything west of Gloucester Road, but stops the Wim road at Putney Bridge for now, Extension to Wim is now underway and trackwork is complete.

Was just coming here to ask if there is/was any kind of update/plans for the future of the route. Downloaded it a few days ago and it's great. Looking forward to the JustTrains S Stock being released in the future to drive on it!

I've completed the trackwork to Wimbledon and once the signalling and 4th rail are put in by Jimi, I can add the viaducts, embankments and EAP tunnel and then add all the scenery. The C-Stock train will be released with the Wimbo update. Next plan will be take the track into the tunnels at High St Ken and onto Edgware Road. Beyond that remains to be seen at the moment. Depends on the rest of the team being willing to help out. Just a note that Richard Scott has built us an S Stock but we will see how good the Just Trains is before we do any more work on it.
