Oooooh-er, is that a Met Line train guv'nor?
;D ;D ;D ;D
The footbridge is probably the only identifying detail that could be used here, and since I can't think of any like that north of Rickmansworth I shall say that this train is somewhere between Harrow and Rickmansworth.
If I had to guess I'd say somewhere near Sandy Lodge.

Well the electric locomotive is No18 Michael Faraday, it was withdrawn on 7 March 1963 and later went to the English Electric Company at Rugby for use in tests. ( also locos Nos. 2, 7 & 16).

I have been looking at the third tree down, but it has not spoken to me yet. However, the weeds in the foreground do look like something that was used by DrJimi in his District line sim. Just a minute; I seem to remember that Dr Jimi was constructing a bridge like that somewhere near Homebase... Now there is a thought. A Met loco and rake on the Wimbledon line!

From the silence, I guess that Phil was not very impressed with my suggestions. In that case, as he has posted a train pic, I will post a tunnel to go with it. Stand by...

Not at all - i was elsewhere.
Right lines meant MET, a way away meant a few stations away.

...However, the weeds in the foreground do look like something that was used by DrJimi in his District line sim... I confess I'm delighted that someone would notice such detail. Sadly, I can not establish the true provenance of the weeds I'm using. Thus it is unclear whether they are original District weeds or are originally from some other part of the combine On a more serious note, I find these photo quizzes fascinating and greatly enjoy seeing them each day. I don't stand a <pick favorite epithet> of getting the answers but am in awe of those of you who display such encyclopedic knowledge. Well, I did get all Alan's District ones right, but I guess I should ;D Best, Jimi
