I noticed the other day that Tfl had updated the standard tube map on their website to show the reopening of the London Overground between Barking and Gospel Oak, it on it has "March 2017" at the bottom. That is the only tube map that was updated and I was wondering if there had been any new pocket or poster maps at stations to reflect the reopening? content.tfl.gov.uk/standard-tube-map.pdf

In addition to the obvious Goblin reopening there are some other small differences. In no particular order: West Ham has gone to blobs to three, the SSR now being step-free only to platform rather than to train. Also going the same way are: East Ham, Barking, Dagenham Heathway, Upminster, Canonbury (East London Line), Blackfriars, Southfields, Earl's Court (District line), Woodside Park and Wembley Park (Jubilee line). Tower Hill has gone the other way, now being step-free to train. I wonder if the standard for step-free to train has been tightened?
As a consequence of the change at West Ham, the Jubilee Line is now slightly further west between Canning Town and Stratford, such that it touches the label boxes for Bromley-by-Bow and Pudding Mill Lane. Canning Town Jubilee line blob is slightly further north and Star Lane slightly further south.
Tottenham Court Road is now step free to platform (previously not step-free), but no change at Victoria.
Lambeth North station has reopened.
The station names are very slightly less bold, but the grid lines very slightly thicker. As a consequence of the first there are many minor changes of label position.
The zone four "4" near Morden has moved right, rather than being midway horizontally between Morden and Morden Road it's now in line with South Tottenham. It's also very slightly lower.
Goodge Street has moved a little way south for no obvious reason. It's now no longer midway between Warren Street and Tottenham Court Road or level with Russell Square (which hasn't changed).
On the east of the map, the zone 4 "4" marker for Barking, etc, has moved from directly right of the "3" for Plaistow and Royal Victoria. It is now north-east and labels have appeared for zones 5 an 6 such that the "3", "4", "5" and "6" are now the same offset from the District Line.

step free at king cross met and circle has gone - no step free to platforms linked with lift works but no dagger attached to it - someone forgotten to add it
Blackhorse road station (overground has step free but not shown on map) - i think they are preparing the new access lifts

the lettering is very blurred, particularly when you enlarge it.

the lettering is very blurred, particularly when you enlarge it. Some browsers render PDFs as a raster image for previewing purposes. I confidently assume that many of the changes from outlined to blue blobs are made in connection with the imminent demise of the D Stock this month.

Looking at the PDF in the graphics program I used to compare the two maps, I don't see this issue at all. Antje's theory sounds rather likely - try downloading it and opening it in a PDF viewer.

King's Cross St. Pancras has step-free blobs for the deep level lines only on both December 2016 and March 2017.

If we're really lucky we'll start seeing these maps on trains by around 2023 😉

On the east of the map, the zone 4 "4" marker for Barking, etc, has moved from directly right of the "3" for Plaistow and Royal Victoria. It is now north-east and labels have appeared for zones 5 an 6 such that the "3", "4", "5" and "6" are now the same offset from the District Line. I've just realised that I got this the wrong way round - the zone labels paralleling the District line were on the December map, the horizontal alignment out to zone 4 only is the version on the March version.
