Does anyone remember?
When did Metropolitan Line trains cease calling at Jubilee Line stations? I am thinking of the early morning and late evening scheduled journeys where A stock trains actually travelled on (Bakerloo) Jubilee Line tracks.
Clives Underground Line Guide suggests that in one direction Met Line trains ceased being able to reach the 'local lines' used by the tube trains in 2004 and in the other direction in 2010.
I've looked through the oldest Met and Jubilee Line threads here at DD and although I have found information which validates what Clive's Guide says, it seems that this forum is not old enough to have any threads which discuss the cessation of regular service by Met Line trains. (Either that or the information was in the part of the forum database that District Dave accidentally deleted many years ago).
I've placed this message in SSR group as it involves several lines, even though only one of them is a SSR line!

C stock trains used to call at some Jubilee stations.
These were early and late journeys to/from Neasden depot but they stayed on the Met tracks and used platforms that are still there.
From memory it ceased when each line got individual managers.

The new Met timetable from 28th May 2000 announced that early morning and late evening trains would no longer serve the stations between Finchley Road and Wembley Park. Additional Jubilee line trains would call instead.

Basically it was the opening of the Jubilee Line Extension that was the catalyst for the change.

Thanks everyone.
I remembered this happening... just not 'when'.
