Hi
I have been looking into buying a Roundel and there are a few for sale on eBay. However they are very expensive and I haven't had a good experience with eBay recently.
However this afternoon looking on the internet I found a site for a company called A. J Wells. They say that they can make me a roundel thats genuine. They are also a lot cheaper than eBay. Do they currently make roundels for London Underground? Or do they just make a copy?
Thanks
Alex

Thanks Alex They say this: "AJ Wells & Sons Ltd, manufacturers of Signs Of The City, have been official suppliers of signage and cladding to the Rail industry and Transport for London for many years". They've been manufacturing since 1972. If I were you I'd give them a call on their Isle Of Wight phone number 01983 537766 to get a better understanding of how they operate.

Their quality is superb. Another part of the organization makes solid fuel stoves which look great and function very well.

Personally, if I was in the market for a roundel, I'd want one that had been used on a station.
Even though they are identical, I consider the AJ Wells roundels to be replicas.
I imagine that this won't bother some people however :-)
Do these ever get sold at Acton open days?
