Following in the current tradition of 'guess the location' quizzes, may I present the easiest one yet! Identify the following locations: Number 1Number 2Number 3Number 4As I say, these are dead easy, but I'll dig out some harder ones later!

1. Hanger Lane Junction of course! But wait, the stick's showing you a path onto the Picc. That can't be! 2. I'll take a punt and say Kensington Olympia 3. West Kensington/ Lillie Bridge 4. Ealing Broadway perhaps?

1 to 3 are a piece of piddle for me so I'll leave them for others.
4. I get the impression that it's on NR not LU, I'll guess and say Slough.

Ah, not quite as easy as I thuoght then!
Ttran, you are correct with number 2... It is Olympia. The others aren't right though.
Clue for number 4: It is a NR panel, but it is also on the District line!

No 3 is Wimbeldon Park Depot??
No 4 is Wimbeldon ASC, the train headcode says it (1#46)
---- And it wouldn't be Slough because Slough is an I.E.C.C. and this is an NX panel.

I'd have said that number 1 is actually the approach to Ealing itself, rather than Hanger Lane. My first reaction for number 2 was the fake houses at Lenister Gardens near Bayswater, but I don't think there would be grass in the foreground there. Number 3 for me was the junction joining the DR with Lillie Bridge, and 4 is the panel approaching Wimbledon.

If the route indicator wasn't lit, the route would be set towards Northfields. 2 = Kensington Olympia. 3 = The Lillie Bridge access spur from Olympia. 4 = Wimbledon PSB. The image shows a D stock (train 46) passing Wimbledon Park SWT depot. The letter is 'I' as this wasn't used previously, although is now used for Eurostar services. C stocks are classed as class 2, so a C stock may have the headcode 2I73. Well done! I'll see if I can find some harder ones!!

Oh well I managed to get the top one totally wrong, from what I can remember from my 1989 District Line DEV the approach to EAL is similar to the top picture. BTW am I right in assuming the fake houses near Bayswater are of similar design to those in the pic of Olympia.

Doesn't Hanger lane have the arbor lights set to the left not right?
I thought No 2 could have been Leinster Gdns, but they are all white aren't they?

Good pics Alan. Wondered how long it would take for someone to get number 4.

No. 2 isn't Olympia, it is the approach to West Brompton i think, just after you come up the ramp from Fulham Broadway on the left is the WLL and beyond that a grass verge and in the distance those houses. I am sure of it. lol.
The majority of the approach to Olympia is in cutting last time i checked and therefore no open grassverges just lots of brick retaining walls. lol.

I go past there twice daily, i am almost 90% sure it is Brompton, lol. If it isn't there are some really similar conditions there. lol That is the back of the houses on Seagrave Road, i'm not trying to 'stir' anything honestly, lol. But i am certain it is Brompton.

LOL! Ooh, little old me causing controversy! Take my word for it, it's Olympia. If I show you the full picture: You can clearly see the side of the exhibition centre to the right. I took the photographs originally for someone who was making the Olympia route for BVE.
