Sometimes i travel from high st kensington to edgware road in the PM peak. Im wondering which carriage is likely to be the quietest? Also is it the case that district and circle line trains are evenly spaced, seems not in practice?

Rear car has some doorways cut out at the intermediate stations, NHG, Bayswater and Paddington. Those have their stairs/exits towards the front so at the rear you're in with those wanting the exit at Edgware Road. Try it and see.
