Whats the highest speed reached and where? Well, I generally spend my days hurtling around the sun at about 66,600 miles per hour. Is that what you had in mind?

In my father's car at 120mph down the M4 (before the 70 limit) many years ago. (I presume in the air does not count)
Edit: of course- 129 mph between Reading and Paddington in a late-running HST

1: 186mph [if not a tad faster] on the Eurostar between the Chunnel and Paris 2: 'Cab Ride' in a McLaren roadster - [shucks, it wasnt mine ] on test in deepest Germany... 229mph! Wow. breathtaking to say the least. And there's me thinking 65 in an A60 is fast...

Nearly 300mph - 500mph in a Plane to Cyprus has got to be my record. ;D But on the ground, 125mph in HST's/Pendolinos/GNER 225s/GNER Eurostar White Rose sets/Adelantes. EDIT - Also done 186mph in a TGV Duplex from Lillie to Disneyland Paris (can't remember the station name... Even if I could I doubt I'll even be able to spell it! ;D I've never been good with the French language...) when I was younger.

115 KPH from Theydon Bois to Debden on a 92 stock - Dunno what that is in English but it was Fast. 75+ on the Met Main at Kilburn northbound passing the old BR stock 70 odd from Upminster to Barking running empty on nights, when we went across the points at Daggers the trainers seat collapsed as at the time I was a Guard and ended up on the floor with the driver pi$$ing himself with laughter

Hmm.... now let me think. Had a pretty respectable run between Elm Park and Dag W w/b with MA in the cab once On the road, an indicated 188mph coming off the mountain heading towards Douglas on the Isle of Man on a ZXR750 in 1990. The engine hit the rev limiter - I went to change up, and discovered that I was in 6th already Got nicked on the M6 coming back home too. 'I made it 126' said the copper, 'but we'll call it 93 and a fixed penalty'. The mate I was with wanted to argue with him.......

Fastest I ever did on a Motorbke was 125 on a Gold wing going down the long straight hill towards Birmingham. Lost me nerve and bottled out.

115 KPH from Theydon Bois to Debden on a 92 stock - Dunno what that is in English but it was Fast. Suspect my fastest (as a "customer") is probably on that stretch on a late night trip from Epping... Any faster and we'd see a flying 92 stock...
