There is also a strike by drivers at the east end of the Central Line planned for next week 25th/26th Jan. The west end depots have not yet been balloted so there should be some sort of service.

Hobbayne - at the moment its just RMT, ASLEF are still balloting. Its over drivers who moved to Leytonstone and Hainault before Night Tube but have now been displaced to Earl's Court because management reckon we're overstaffed even though the roster wasn't expanded at either depot, it was actually reduced at Hainault. Meanwhile drivers with a lot fewer years in the job who moved at the same time to Loughton where the roster was expanded get to stay where they are.
At White City they had displacements despite the roster staying the same but they went to Queen's Park which is only three miles up the road. At West Ruislip they had new recruits to fill an expanded roster even though they're not part of Night Tube.
One poor woman was at Golders Green, moved to White City because it was easier for her to get to, finally got the move to Leytonstone she really wanted and is now going to Earl's Court. If she'd stayed at White City she wouldn't have been displaced!

Hi guys, Sorry to hear about the tube strike this coming monday-wednesday. I imagine the reasons for the strike are the same as those for the strike 2 weeks ago. I'm interested to know how the piccadilly line journey from Rayners Lane to Hammersmith will be in the AM peak? Will I get a seat at Rayners lane? I'm assuming that the trains will come from the Northfields depot, please correct me if wrong. What is the likely service pattern? I know its hard to predict - depends on how many station staff turn up. If there is a timetable notice (TTN), I would gladly see it What is the theoretical capacity of using hammersmith as a terminus? Just out of interest, would you say that disruption due to strikes are becoming worse in recent years, as funding is cut, and staff have to work 'harder'. Thanks

I hope the deal is more about staff numbers than re-opening ticket offices. I accept that in some locations a ticket office being reinstated is a great idea and that should be done, but I hope this doesn't turn into a case of reinstating uselessness. I am sure this is going to put a dent in the fare freeze coffers, will we now see something axed else where?

I'm reading that they are reinstating some control rooms... and that was far more of an issue than ticket offices.

Somebody made a very profound comment on the radio about railway management and the different rail Unions
He said management policy is to "Divide and rule"
Did anyone else hear this and give more info on the context??
