I Have noticed that a semi fast aldgate train has been arriving at pinner around 1810-1813. At first i thought it was just a late running train but it seems i have seen this same train 3 times in a row now on my way back from the city. Is there a scheduled working in the pm peak now?

Yes, train 431 is the one you are referring to. Fast bettween Harrow and Finchley Road.

Ahh i was under the impression that fast trains in the opposite direction to the PM peak were no longer running. Whats the reason for this odd working?
Are there anymore fasts/semi fasts running in the opposite direction to the pm peak?

Perhaps because if there weren't some fasts in the opposite direction you'd end up with all the trains bunched up at one end of the line?

A few years ago I recall there being these contra flow semi fasts, but then recall there being a post about them being removed followed by discussion of problems their removal would cause.
Can someone notify me of the times these run? I remember they used to be shown in the timetables but aren't shown anymore

Can someone notify me of the times these run? Have you tried accessing the Met working timetable via the TFL site?

Do you mean from stations south of Wembley Park? No, from Pinner say? Unfortunately not, rather annoying as it would be handy and they certainly used to. It's as if they want to hide them!
