This is the current service status for the trams. Any idea in what circumstances the service would be delayed to prevent overcrowding?

Where there is a gap in the flow of trains approaching, if intermediate trains are delayed it lessens the gap and ameliorates overcrowding on the trains arriving after the hiatus.
