Just wondering, what will the timetable be during the Brentwood to Shenfield closure, and how will trains reverse at Brentwood?

And will GEML (fast line)trains stop at Brentwood for connections? They will stop at Brentwood. Late night trains have been reversing at Brentwood in recent times.

Timetables here tfl.gov.uk/modes/tfl-rail/tfl-rail-timetables Trains reverse at Brentwood using a new cross over to the west of the station. There will be a bus service between Brentwood and Shenfield, I don't think Greater Anglia services will serve Brentwood.

Some of the Southend line trains will call at Brentwood, as far as I know.

Interesting, as there's nothing on the Greater Anglia website to say they are making additional stops on any services

The work may not be fully completed yet. the work has been completed earlier than planned and they have put trains back as a temporary change to the winter timetable. Difficult to change the rosters at short notice. 10 minute service on Saturdays. Full service from the May timetable change and one Class 345 in service off peak.

No peak time class 345s?
Also, how often will a 345 enter service and when will the last 315 run?

More than one 345 in evidence yesterday, including one in the stub end north of Gidea Park

Last weekend 345 006 was in the yard at Gidea Park (7 cars being approximately the same length as the 8-car 315s) and this morning I noticed 345 007 stabled at Ilford.
So as far as I'm aware, that makes 4 delivered, with 345002, which I understand will return for modifications, and 345 005 having been delivered beforehand.

11 345s will be in service by September.
345002 has vinyl lettering applied which states it will be the first unit in passenger service.

I thought it wouldn't take that long to replace them as there aren't that many required to run the service? 11 345s by September sounds like that's most of the off peak service?

Aren't there going to be some residual services into Liverpool Street mainline until the full Crossrail route opens (or has that plan changed)?

Full length 345s can't run into Liverpool Street until after the tunnel section is in operation. (The 7 car 345s are longer than the 8 car 315s.) Peak hour services to Liverpool Street remain even after the full through service is running.
Once the initial trains from Shenfield are running through the tunnel space to allow platforms at Liverpool Street to be lengthened is created.
There are 22 x 8 car trains allocated to the existing service (44 units)
Don't forget 345s will be needed to start the Abbey Wood - Paddington service.
