Seems like the central isn't having a good day today; any ideas what this was? An eastbound train hit an object after leaving Queensway around 0605, after traction current was discharged the driver recovered parts of the object, which was a metal box about 120mm square. The incident train was moved forward to Marble Arch siding to investigate. that's the best we can say, for now. |

There was also a points failure at North Acton which delayed service recovery for a while.
