I believe that would most likely have to do with a virus on your computer or something. There was a thread about this a while ago if I remember correctly, and this was found to be the problem.

Is the OP saying it's happening on his iPhone?

Is the OP saying it's happening on his iPhone? That's my interpretation. It's happened to me from time to time too. I believe the issue stems from some of Probaords's adverts, but it's tricky to track down which one due to the way you are instantly redirected.

That's correct it happens on my iPhone so it could be to do with the adverts on the site?

Firstly whilst adverts may be annoying, they are essential for us to enjoy the free hosting we do.
From a computer with a keyboard you can press CTRL+ALT+R to report an advert.
From the support forum:
If these issues persist, please let us know and we will investigate/escalate further.

My firewall seems to be blocking all ads on this forum. I suspect that the spread of ad and popup blockers will eventually kill off a lot of "free" services on the web.

I think you're quite right Peter. It's ironic that, in order to keep free services, we have to tolerate those providing that free service keeping themselves afloat by advertising.

I've lost the rolling adverts, too, on entering the site.
Reckon it might be, in my case, due to a Paretologic update I just did a week ago.
Like a few others, I never ask questions of it, just let it update, meaning I had to sign in to several sites anew!
Unfortunately, it doesn't work everywhere, especially on newspaper online sites, which are truly loaded with utter pop-up & other advertising garbage.

Unfortunately, "malvertising" is keeping many from even thinking of disabling ad blockers (source: blog.malwarebytes.com/101/2016/06/truth-in-malvertising-how-to-beat-bad-ads/). It is possible to get infected just by being served adverts. If the Internet continues to get dangerous, then I cannot rule out quitting the Internet entirely. I actually want to quit the internet, but if I do so right now that would isolate me socially.
