There is a TV ad for "Simple Be" (ladies fashions) currently being aired on some Freeview channels.
The opening scenes were filmed at an Underground Station featuring a departing S stock train.
The platform arrangement and seat alcoves remind me of Aldgate East but the exit from the station features a very old style UndergrounD roundel that I don't remember at that station.
Does anyone know where the ad was filmed?

I saw this the other day and thought similar. Yes it's Aldgate East, S7 going Eastbound to Upminster (The image is flipped horizontally for some reason? Carriage 22340 is seen) is the full advert, apologies if this constitutes advertising!

For one wonderful moment, I thought the thread was going to concern itself with whether Aldgate East is actually east & whether there are any geographically-challenged station names on the Underground. No such luck Anyway, I recognise the roundel, but I think it has been transposed from the ex-Met (now H & C) platform. Think it was the westbound one, but as I last used that station about 1988, I can't be certain.
