Mrs tbf & I will be taking a short break next week.
We're staying in East Croydon & plan to do some Tube photography (exteriors only) to get various architect's styles next Sunday 9/10.
The itinerary follows, and I'd like to know how long this would take & whether there's a quicker way round-the capitalised stations are the ones we want to capture. We'd also appreciate a suitable lunch/cappo-stop or two in your responses!
We'd also like to try & get down to Camberwell afterwards to photograph the three parks I went to as a small child, which are all still there, hence why I'm asking about timing & the shorter, if available, route. Or, if there's a better example of a particular architect's style on a more direct run, please feel free to add that.
Thanks in advance-itinerary:
Go to FARRINGDON.(Charles Clark)
H & B/Circle to MOORGATE.(T. Phillips Figgis)
Northern towards Morden, get off KENNINGTON. (T.P.F)
Northern line back to E & C, change to Bakerloo, on to Baker Street.
Circle/H & C back to GREAT PORTLAND STREET(Charles Clark).
Back to Baker Street, Bakerloo to MAIDA VALE & KILBURN PARK(Stanley Heaps' rejig of Leslie Green).
Bakerloo back to Baker Street, change to Jubilee there & change at Bond Street to Central Line thence Westbound to
QUEENSWAY & HOLLAND PARK (Harry Bell Measures).
Onto White City/Wood Lane interchange, change to H & C or Circle to Hammersmith, cross road to Hammersmith Picc & District.
By District to:
BARONS COURT & EARL'S COURT (Harry Wharton Ford).
GLOUCESTER ROAD (John Fowler & Leslie Green together & one Green we don't have).
If time, onto TEMPLE(H.W.F.) & back to VICTORIA, getting the entrance by George Sherrin inset into Terminus Place.
