Is anyone here finding the Central line very bumpy in its ride quality, especially out towards Epping. It's making it hard to read my book...

Haven't noticed whether it's got any worse.

Not up there, but I've noticed it around Woodford.

Woodford has had temp speed restriction in vicinity of Roding Valley junction for a long time, though I'd agree the ride has deteriorated quicker there in past year. Debden-Theydon both roads have always been bumpy, but again, seems to have deteriorated more quickly over past year. Personally, having the opportunity to regularly travel up there and see exactly what's going on trackside, I would hazard a guess a point the finger at 'vegetation' control. There has been a lot of tree removal along with heavy pruning, it is almost bare from Loughton onwards. Coupled with the difficulty they're having keeping the Japanese knotweed under control. Oh yeah, not forgetting that every time I carry P way I'm 'reliably' informed that maintenance regimes are constantly being reduced. Like I've said in a previous post, being a driver driving in CM, a lot don't like to manually drive up there cause we don't like being thrown about the cab whilst in control😉
